Discover the limitless potential within the use of this luminous, tactile and beautiful medium for the creation of fused and slumped glass jewellery pendants. Various glass products will be provided to enable creation of your own unique composition, colour and design.
The teacher will kiln fire your items both for the fusing stage and slumping as required. Fusing and slumping glass takes time thus items made during the day will be fired by the teacher following the workshop. Slumping, which is shaping fused glass is a second firing process, so will take additional time for some projects. Items can be collected from the studio one week after the class or you can pay a packaging and postage fee on the day.
There are no skill pre-requisites for this workshop.

Please bring cash for this service if required.
"What a wonderful day, glass has always held a fascination for me and having taken the first step in taking this class I know that I have found my passion, the practical aspects of working with glass were well explained and I appreciated all the tips from your teacher who obviously knows their stuff. I am going to try the other glass classes you have now as I feel confident to do them too." Juta Perry
"I don't own a kiln, so was put off from trying glass in the past but knowing that I can bring my work to SJS for firing was just what I needed to get me to enrol. It was so worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and love the excitement of seeing what it comes out like after it's been in the kiln." Denise Fairbank
