Metal Work & Fabrication - Metal Work - Anodising Aluminium

THIS CLASS HAS NOW BEEN HELD - IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS TECHNIQUE, PLEASE EMAIL US AND WE WILL LOOK AT RUNNING ANOTHER CLASS LATER IN THE YEAR.

SJS has taken the hard work of preparing the Aluminium via Anodising from you. We have sourced our own UNSEALED, Anodised Aluminium.

The Aluminium has been especially sealed free from air in plastic bags waiting to be used.

The studio has conducted exhaustive tests over the past 6 months to ensure that you will have great results.

This workshop will cover the complexities of cutting, colouring, shaping, texturing your aluminium prior to sealing.  A wide variety of colourants will be used and different techniques explored such as dip dyeing, "painting" resists and more.

We will be using .5mm aluminium which will enable you to use shears (instead of sawing) if you so desire too.

This class is only on offer once a year so don't miss out.
