CLASS DESCRIPTION

Spend a day exploring the playful qualities of Polymer Clay and Fibre. You will be guided through a number of techniques used to blend, shape and texture polymer clay to create unique pieces of jewellery. Once your Polymer Clay pieces have been created, you will have the opportunity to experiment with a range of rare fibres to enhance your finished pieces. At the end of this workshop students will be competent in using the basic elements of design, combined with technical skills to create polymer clay pendants enhanced with fibre including wrapped rope and tassels.

GENERAL INFORMATION

* Additonal polymer clay, tools and equipment will be available on the day for purchase from the studio.

* OH&S protocols at SJS require all students to wear CLOSED IN shoes and to have long hair tied back. We recommend that glasses are worn in stead of contact lenses and minimal jewellery is worn in a studio environment.
