CLASS DESCRIPTION

Have you sanded your fingers down to blood one too many times? Or simply given up part way through finishing a piece?

Do you emery in front of the TV?

A considered and competent surface finish on a completed piece of metalwork can raise its standard to that of professional.

The most efficient methods for making this happen are not trade secrets.

Correct your technique and learn new ones; from removing firescale on sterling silver to polishing to a high shine; from a deliberate matte finish (not one derived from laziness…) to an intentional "rustic" look.

Never put off sanding again. Finish your pieces and finish them well!
