CLASS DESCRIPTION

Do you see yourself as a Picasso or Renoir, Come along to this afternoon workshop and see what you can create with some resin and a board.
Create a relaxing beach scene with rolling waves or an intergalactic cosmic battle.
Experiment with how the resin moves and interacts with other colours and additives and discover some really cool effects.
We will be using a low odour Epoxy Resin that is able to be mixed with a number of additives.

The resin artwork will need at least 24-48 hours to cure. Once it is fully cured you can come and pick it up or have it posted to you for a cost of $17

SKILL PREREQUISITE

There are no skill pre-requisites. 

This course is not recommended for pregnant women.

ESSENTIAL TECHNIQUES COVERED

* Learn how to work with and pour resin safely

* Applying resin to suitable surfaces

* Preparing your working surface for resin application
* Mixing of colours and additives

* Further materials including Resin and Canvas can be bought at the end of the class

* An apron & wear old clothes

* Pencil and Notebook

GENERAL INFORMATION

We request that you wear closed shoes, have long hair tied back and wear minimal jewellery in classes for WH&S reasons. We also recommend you wear glasses over contact lenses if required.
