Our Teachers

Pearl Moon is a textile artist who has been making elaborately decorated and beaded cloth dolls since the mid 1990s. She is an internationally recognised mixed media artist who has taught all over Australia, New Zealand and the USA for over a decade.

Her interest in beading led her to start making jewellery and in 2003 she gained the PMC Cert 1 level of qualification with Senior Teacher Marlynda Taylor in the USA. She has incorporated PMC elements into her jewellery and beadmaking designs for the last 5 years. Pearl sells her one-of-a-kind original adornments and dolls through The School of Arts Gallery, in Tighes Hill, Newcastle, NSW.
