Our Teachers

As a Multi Media Artist, Roz has journeyed through many mediums over the years to create wearable art, jewellery and objét d’ art. Nurtured by a mother who was a beautiful seamstress and knitter and a maternal grandmother who had a natural artistic flair for anything she put her mind too, she was encouraged to try anything. Her initial passion centred on textiles, hand embroidered and embellished to create clothing that was both unique and wearable. Hand dyeing of silks, and natural fibres expanded her repertoire. 

Every since those early days working with textiles, it has been a constant journey of working with new materials; Polymer, Glass, Metal Clay, Beadweaving, Felting, Anodising of Metals, Acrylics, Resins and Metals......all have played a part in developing the colourful pieces that are now created in her studio. 

Roz is both self taught and a participant in many classes, workshops and programmes. She is the owner and director of Sydney Jewellery School and The Eclectic Studio and currently serves as the President of the PMC Guild - Australia-New Zealand.
